Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center is one of 41 National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers, with a focus on "translational" research and clinical care -- the impact on the patient is always in mind, whether in our laboratories or in our clinics. Our scientists and our doctors work closely together as a team -- discoveries are developed to make a difference for patients as quickly as possible and questions raised and knowledge gained in our clinics are shared with our researchers for further exploration.
