Sickle Cell Anemia Clinic
Dr. Adetola Kassim is the Director of the Sickle Cell Anemia Clinic, which offers care for adults with sickle cell anemia and other inherited disorders of red blood cells (Hemoglobinopathies). The Clinic is located on the second floor of The Vanderbilt Clinic and new patients are generally seen on Wednesday afternoons, unless a patient’s urgent condition requires immediate scheduling. Laura Winslow, who is a nurse practitioner with experience working with both pediatric and adult sickle cell patients, assists Dr. Kassim with day-to-day patient management.
