Families are encouraged to speak with the doctors during rounds at the hospital or during office visits. If the need for further information arises, it is possible to schedule an appointment at the office to discuss a patient's condition.
Office calls are triaged by our nursing staff. Nurses will consult with your doctor who will address the issue. As necessary, and as the doctor's schedule permits, either the doctor or the nurse will return your call.
Test results are discussed at the time of your scheduled visit with your physician. Exceptions are made if you have been instructed to call sooner than your next scheduled office visit.
We offer 24-hour, 7-day-a-week service. You may reach us by calling 615-771-7265. At night or on the weekend an answering service will take a message. If for some reason your after-hours call is not returned within one hour, please call again.
