The MMC/VICC Partnership Clinical Trials Program at MNGH has completed the first year of operation under the direction of Steven Stain, M.D., Principal Investigator; Chukwuemeka Ikpeazu, M.D., Ph.D., Medical Director; and Debra Wujcik, RN, MSN, Administrative Director.Notable highlights of the first year include:
- 3 full time support staff hired
- 16 research protocols opened
- 15 patients accrued
- 156 patients screened for study (accrual rate of 10%)
- Contracts signed with VICCAN, EPP and ECOG
