American Cancer Society Road to Recovery Program

This program helps cancer patients who can walk get to and from cancer treatment. Requests must be made by noon the Thursday before the ride is needed. When you call, provide:

  • Date and time of appointment

  • Length of appointment

  • Doctor's name

  • Treatment location

Rides are provided by volunteer drivers for Davidson, Rutherford, Williamson, Robertson and Sumner counties. Sumner County has limited availability for patients going to Davidson County. Rutherford County offers trips within Rutherford County only.

American Cancer Society Transportation Grant

This grant is for patients who have a financial hardship and are coming for chemotherapy and/or radiation treatment. To use this grant, you must first meet with a social worker in the VICC Cancer Clinic.
