Being diagnosed with cancer is an overwhelming experience for patients and their families. Just getting through treatment can consume vast amounts of physical and emotional energy. The strain can make living with cancer seem an insurmountable task. It is easy to lose ones self in the day-to-day struggles; therefore, it is vital that patients and their families receive the support needed in order to cope with this devastating disease.

Although providing state of the art clinical care and experimental therapies for patients is an essential component of the mission for the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, we are also dedicated to treating the whole person -- mind, body and spirit. Working hand in hand with the treating physicians, the clinical and research staff of the Cancer Supportive Care Clinic work to provide a comprehensive and integrative approach to care.

Appointments can be made by calling the Patient Support Office at 615-322-6053.
