Dr. Summitt's clinical interests include general reconstructivgeneral reconstructive plastic surgery, aesthetic surgery, and burn surgery. Dr. Summitt performed his undergraduate studies at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, and obtained his medical degree in 1995 at the University of Tennessee School of Medicine in Memphis. He completed his internship and residency in Surgery at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. Dr. Summitt completed the Burn Fellowship at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 2002, as well as his Residency in Plastic Surgery in 2004. We are proud to have Dr. Summitt join us in the Department ofPlastic Surgery.
