Assistant Professor of Urologic Surgery


Dr. Resnick is a urologic surgeon specializing in the treatment of prostate, bladder, kidney, penile, and testicular cancers. He completed medical school and residency at the University of Pennsylvania and a fellowship in urologic oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Resnick seeks to provide comprehensive, compassionate, and patient-centered care to patients with genitourinary malignancies.

In addition to his patient care responsibilities, Dr. Resnick conducts patient-centered health services research with a particular emphasis on prostate cancer treatment decision-making and survivorship. Working within the Center for Surgical Quality and Outcomes Research at Vanderbilt University, Dr. Resnick hopes to inform efforts to personalize treatment decision-making for patients with genitourinary cancers. Additionally, he hopes to identify means to improve the overall quality of care delivered to cancer patients.
