by Dagny Stuart
Harold L. (Hal) Moses, M.D., director emeritus of Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, will be the featured luncheon speaker during the annual Celebrity Tablescapes event, sponsored by the T.J. Martell Foundation.
Celebrities such as Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Al Gore and wives of the Tennessee Titans and Nashville Predators will join some of Nashville’s top designers to create elaborate place settings for entertaining.
Each table has a theme and awards are given for the most creative designs.
The event at the Hilton Nashville Downtown features a cocktail reception and table preview Monday, Sept. 22, at 6:30 p.m., and the luncheon Tuesday, Sept. 23, at 11:30 a.m.
Moses is director of the Preston Laboratories, named in honor of Frances Williams Preston, national president of the T.J. Martell Foundation and former president and CEO of BMI.
The T.J. Martell Foundation is a national non-profit that supports research for leukemia, cancer and AIDS.
The foundation supports cancer research through annual grants to the Frances Williams Preston Laboratories at Vanderbilt-Ingram.

Why don’t you post pictures of the tables from this event? Even though I’m from California I do enjoy looking at the beautiful tables from other areas. Cancer charities are my charities of choice since my 37 year old daughter died from cancer in 2004. Thanks for your help.
