Conversations about Colorectal Cancer: Sept. 20, 2008

In partnership with the Colon Cancer Alliance, Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center will co-host a free educational symposium titled “Conversations about Colorectal Cancer: Finding Hope in Your Community” on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008. The event will be held at the Vanderbilt Student Life Center located at 310 25th Avenue South across from Memorial Gym. [Map to the Student Life Center.]
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the latest treatment advances in oncology, surgery and interventional radiology from Vanderbilt-Ingram professionals. Plus, there will be survivor and caregiver support forums to exchange ideas, information and hope.
“Conversations about Colorectal Cancer” is intended for all colorectal cancer survivors whether they are newly diagnosed, living with advanced cancer or long-term survivors as well as their caregivers and friends. Nurses and other healthcare professionals are also encouraged to attend.
