Dr. Alexander A. Parikh is board certified by the American Board of Surgery (General Surgery) and the Society of Surgical Oncology. His clinical interests focus on cancers of the GI and biliary tract including the esophagus, stomach, liver (primary and metastatic lesions), pancreas, small intestine, colon and rectum.

At Vanderbilt Dr. Parikh continues his clinical and translational research interests in biologic and combination therapies including anti-angiogenic strategies in the management of gastrointestinal cancers.
