Services for Men
While the rate of breast cancer in men is very low, some men do develop breast masses and other symptoms that require assessment by specialists in breast health and disease. The latest techniques and tests used to thoroughly evaluate the breast health of our female patients are used for men, as well (see diagnostic follow-up for a description of these). Some men also may benefit from a high-risk screening assessment if breast cancer has been prevalent in other family members, particularly other men.
We will be happy to arrange a more private alternative for our male patients who feel uncomfortable in our regular waiting area. Simply advise us of that preference when you make your appointment.
