Iobenguane I-131 or Crizotinib and Standard Therapy in Treating Younger Patients with Newly-Diagnosed High-Risk Neuroblastoma or Ganglioneuroblastoma

This partially randomized phase III trial studies iobenguane I-131 or crizotinib and standard therapy in treating younger patients with newly-diagnosed high-risk neuroblastoma or ganglioneuroblastoma. Radioactive drugs, such as iobenguane I-131, may carry radiation directly to tumor cells and not harm normal cells. Crizotinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving iobenguane I-131 or crizotinib and standard therapy may work better in treating younger patients with neuroblastoma or ganglioneuroblastoma.

Alpha-1-Proteinase Inhibitor Human in Preventing Development of Steroid-Refractory Graft Versus Host Disease in Stem Cell Transplant Participants

This phase II trial studies the side effects and how well alpha-1-proteinase inhibitor human works in preventing development of graft versus host disease in stem cell transplant participants. Graft versus host disease is the most common serious complication after receiving a bone marrow transplant. Alpha-1-proteinase inhibitor human may help prevent the inflammatory immune response from graft versus host disease and damage to the skin, liver, stomach, and / or intestines.

Natalizumab and Prednisone or Methylprednisolone in Treating Participants with High Risk Acute Graft-Versus-Host Disease

This phase II trial studies how well natalizumab and prednisone or methylprednisolone work in treating participants with high risk acute graft-versus-host disease. Graft-versus-host disease is caused when cells from a donated stem cell graft attack the normal tissue of the transplant patient. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as natalizumab, may help the body’s immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Prednisone and methylprednisolone are steroids that helps suppress the immune system and reduce inflammation. It is not yet known how well natalizumab and prednisone or methylprednisolone work in treating participants with high risk acute graft-versus-host disease.
